I just have a question really. Not sure if anyone can answer it but I’ll throw it out there. Watching Nancy Grace tonight, I learned Casey is getting million $ movie/book deals to tell her story. Under the “son of sam” law she cannot gain any money from it if she’s convicted. It goes to the victim, which in this case happens to be her daughter. Who, then would get the money? The grandparents? So they can pay her legal fees? Also, could this be 1 reason she’s waiting to talk. If details are leaked now, they could write a book without her.
Well I’m in Texas and here it would go to the state. I’m not sure about Florida…it would depend how they have their laws written.
That would be a good call in question for Nancy Grace I think.
Casey is so selfish that she will not cooperate with the movie makers if the money goes to the state and like any narcissist killer, she will never admit to killing Caylee. Just like Ted Bundy who only admitted to killing so many people when he knew he will be executed in few minutes and there was no way out of it.
Anyone who thinks she is innocent, isn’t a mother. If it was an accident, which I don’t think it was, most would have admitted it way before now. I think she overdosed Calee with Xanax in order to PARTY. After the party she realized she was dead and by that time the body was in rigor. Put her in the back of the car to try and think of what to do to cover up/ hide what she had done. I don’t think they will ever find Calee’s body, but I hope she has to spend the rest of her pathetic life in prison (which will be solitary) since she is a child killer. I know her parents are holding on to hope….who would want to admit that their OWN daughter was responsible for the death of their precious granddaughter.
Personally, I think they should ‘disown’ her and let the court appoint an attorney. If not, they are going to lose everything unless they get the proceeds from any book/movie deal.
IF that is why Casey has refusede to cooperate, it would be the first time in her life she thought of anyone else besides herself….unless she thinks she can keep the money from this deal? Ted Bundy died a poor man. All the money went to pay for his attorney fees and his wife and child (he married in prison).
I wish they would put her in jail and leave her there.
I don’t think anyone really thinks Casey is innocent…Not even her parents. They don’t want to face the truth…but deep down they know.
I think once reality does sink into Cindy she is going to have a complete meltdown. You can only hold things inside for so long.
I used to work for defense attorney’s and to be honest…I doubt seriously that even Jose Baez thinks Casey is innocent. He is just doing his job….and even tho he is doing it “pro bono”…He expects to get SOMETHING out of all of this…Free publicity.
I agree with mom23girls about anyone who thinks she is innocent, isn’t a mother. As a mom I couldn’t stand just a couple of nights away from my kids. As more time goes by, she acts just like she did the first time we saw her. There seems to be zero anxiety about not seeing her child. I don’t know why Cindy cannot see that. I think Cindy knows the truth but cannot face it and feels responsible for raising a monster. I just think if they didn’t enable her so much in the past, she might not try things she didn’t think she would get away with (like murder). Harsh huh? I am just pissed that one, she would harm her child and two, have no remorse.
I can never get through to Nancy Grade – It would seem that Casey cannot benefit from funds obtained by a crime but can her parents? Also, why should anyone donate for her defense???? Has she cared enough to convey the truth to someone? She probably took the month to research all this before we even thought of any of this mess. To hell with her defense and if she is innocent as her parents claim – why would she need a defense?: If it is for her other charges – she might as well learn her lesson now I can’t see her doing much better in the future if justice exists somewhere.
When I read on their website the ways that one can donate, including gift cards to department stores, I was surprised and throught the whole thing pretty callous. I am thinking now that cash donations are probably being used for their legal defense. And, the two job descriptions written for two full time, available 24/7 assistants (unpaid) was totally strange. Even at that time it had a very strange business tone. Business = making money, does it not? I find all of this very strange from a distraught family frantically looking for a lost little girl. Some part of me is wondering if all of this was done to make money for a family in financial trouble.
I’m a Pisces too and I never have killed a baby, I have two kids who I love more than myself and could never dream of hurting (thanks for the apology though). Casey is a narcissicist like many other people of all star signs (including Scott Peterson who was born in October). My mother was married to a Gemini who was a cruel lying paedophile son of a b*tch, I wouldn’t put it past him to kill kids either. RIP Caley.
I am so much more for EARLY abortion after this Casey Anthony case. Before it’s even a peanut..and you don’t want it.. don’t have it!
Shame on Cindy for forcing Casey to come to this point. I BLAME Cindy for #1 fudging the truth and #2 forcing Casey to keep the baby.
Bottom line……….. told no one Caylee was missing.. WHY??? SHE KILLED HER!
She was jealous that Caylee was getting all the attention from George and Cindy and then I learn tonight .. the reason why her and that boyfriend split … whats his name…was because she accused him of loving Caylee more than her…NOW she has her parents total attention- she is happy-except.. her life of partying is screwed… Thinking about her dirty dancing… OH Casey those big women in prison are going to LOVE you! Party on girl! (forget the death penalty)
Oh and I think it is shameful for her parents to support her like they do… they know her- shes been manipulating them since the beginning .. but when I see them all talk in circles – NEVER answer a question directly.. always a big song and dance explantaion… the apple doesnt fall far from the tree…

Also Casey always refers to Caylee so vaguely…I know we’ll see Caylee again and she will be just like she was before… AS opposed to what… a bag of bones like she left her?

I am a Pisces and would never think to do (assumed) what she did with her child. That beautiful baby did not deserve to die, she was an innocent. Not all Pisces have negative traits, we are kind, loving and generous. There is always good and bad in everything, Casey just happened to get all the bad. She is Evil and I really believe she thinks she will go free. I pray she doesn’t. She gives us Piscians a bad name. Her parents are to blame as much as she is. They enabled her in so many ways. Her Mother is just as evil. I think her father is fudging when it comes to his sickness. I think it is like everything else in that family, fake. Her brother Lee runs out on her, so does her parents. They have given her no support whatever.
I am really curious as to why she named her child Caylee. It is the first part of her name and the first part of her brothers name. Remember there is always a hidden meaning in all she says and does.

It is unfortunate there are so many people adding to the drama of all this with their unprofessional opinions and astrological interpretations. The circumstances of Caylee’s death may never be known. The trial should be based on evidence and fact. If the truth matters here, let it come out in court. Don’t create fictional stories and personalities. Respect the memory and life of Caylee Anthony.
